RIDING BIKES AND SCOOTERS TO SCHOOL
Does your child ride their bike or scooter to and from school? All students riding bikes or scooters are required to wear helmets to keep them as safe as possible. Unfortunately some students are bringing a helmet but not wearing it whilst riding. Please remind your child of the importance of wearing a helmet.
SUNSMART
Our CPS Sun Protection policy supports sun protection behaviours to minimise risk of health problems from sun overexposure, including skin cancer. At Carnegie PS we have a number of shaded play areas to keep students out of the sun. In addition to this, all students should now be wearing their school sunsmart hats each day. If your child needs a new hat, please purchase one so they are able to participate fully at school each and every day.
