Friday 18 August, saw our Primary Athletics Team travel to Tamworth to compete at the Primary Diocesan Athletics Carnival.

With over 550 students in attendance, our Phillies athletes did a phenomenal job competing against students from all around the Armidale Diocese. Students showcased their athletic abilities performing exceptionally well in the track and field events, with some students smashing their personal bests! Well done to all of our athletes, you should be very proud of your achievements!

Secondary Diocesan Athletics Carnival
On Wednesday 9 August, selected Secondary students travelled to Tamworth to compete in the Secondary Diocesan Athletics Carnival. The competition was fierce but Phillies students proved strong in their abilities throughout the day with a number of students receiving personal bests, placings and a pathway through to NSWCCC.

Congratulations to everyone for showcasing your athleticism and having a go! A special mention goes to Audrey Cooper and James Eggins who were awarded 12 years Champion. Well done to the following students who were outstanding on the day and have qualified for the NSWCCC Athletics Championships to be held in Sydney on Monday 11 September, 2023: James Eggins (100m, 400m & long jump), Audrey Cooper (shot put) and Jaydah Duncan (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m & 1500m). Good luck!
