Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

Today is one of the happiest days of our school year - the annual book parade. The enthusiastic sounds of enthusiasm and joy have surrounded the school this morning as students and staff shared their love of books and characters. To all the creators - the parents, carers and friends - who have made this event so special for our children, you have my thanks and admiration. 

This week has also seen an influx of new faces as we have interviewed for our 2024 Kindergarten classes. It is always satisfying to meet the families who choose us as the people and place for their child's education. A positive partnership between school and family is one that is based on trust and shared values - we look forward to building this relationship with our new families. 

 Interviews for Year 7 2024 will be held in the coming weeks. We will be interviewing any applicants who are new to St Philomena's and any existing Year 6 students from families who have not had a child in our secondary department in recent years.  

A reminder - please take a moment to complete the annual Satisfaction Survey, which was recently sent to your Compass-linked email account. Should you require any assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to the school office.
