CONGRATULATIONS TOM TEMPLETON

Tom has been named in the HC Melbourne Futures program! This squad will play a Home and Away series of matches at Parkville, Sydney and Canberra.

OPEN BOYS'

The Open Boys’ team played an exciting and evenly fought game against ladder leaders Bulls last Sunday. Both teams created chances in a game which moved from end to end. Our speed and team play caused problems for our opponents whilst their experience showed us up at times. Down 0-1 at half time, Ciaran Nelson’s alertness early in the third quarter saw us on level terms. We fell behind early in the final term but kept working together and running …. and Harry Dorahy scored the equaliser with two seconds remaining!  A draw was a fair result and both teams were exhausted but it was great preparation for finals pressure which we will experience next week.

Clay Target Shooting

Congratulations to Harry Brown who last weekend competed at Cobar and won the NSW Junior Master championship in clay target shooting. Harry also secured the highest single barrel point score.

Victoria Junior Tetrathlon Team

Congratulations to Charlie and Finley (Year 8) on the selection in the Victorian Junior Tetrathlon team. They will now compete in Perth at the start of Term 4.

BRONZE IN NEW ZEALAND

Congratulations to Will in Year 7 who competed in Auckland last weekend at the 2023 Kukkiwon Cup - Taekwondo New Zealand National Championships.

Will secured a bronze medal, a fantastic result and wonderful recognition of your hard work and dedication to Taekwondo.
