Welcome 2024 Year 7 boarders

Becoming a new boarder can be a daunting process. It is best described as being “nexcited”. A combination of being nervous and excited, for both students and parents! 

I was so pleased to welcome either trial boarders last Sunday afternoon to our boarding precinct. The excitement of our current boarders to look after our “little ones” was palpable. Our Houseparents, Amanda Archer and Bailey Clarke, alongside MOD’s Patricia See and Brian Parfrey, did a wonderful job looking after our boarders and making the first step in a boarding journey such a warm and welcoming one.

Footy colours night

Theme nights are an important part of the boarding program to break up the week and add something a little special for our boarders. This week our Students Boarding Committee organised a footy colours evening. Not only did our boarders get dressed up in their favourite footy colours, but they also had a footy-themed dinner and a quiz. All organised by our boarders and led by our Boarding Captains. Well done!
