Book Week 2023

Book Week has been celebrated in Australia since 1945 and we are very excited to be bringing lots of authors, illustrators and other fun activities to the Aitken students. 

The Primary students have been reading the Children's Book Council Awards shortlisted picture story books in the Library and secondary students had a chance to be part of the Book of the Year Reading Club. Secondary students will take part in a lunch and trivia during Book Week, while primary students will dress up as their favorite book character on Friday 25 August 2023. 

Here are some of the events taking place between 17 August and 25 August during our Book Week celebrations. We look forward to celebrating Book Week with both staff and students.
