The Next Fortnight of Learning

Literacy

After a busy term of researching and learning about prehistoric animals, the students are finally up to presenting their findings in some form of fact file which we are looking forward to displaying.

If time permits, we hope to introduce persuasive texts to our students by looking at print and media advertising and the way these convince us to do or buy certain things.

Maths

We will continue to apply a variety of strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems for the remainder of the term, as well as exploring directional language and the creation, features and uses of maps. Students will continue to extend their mathematical knowledge by applying a variety of strategies to problem solve.

Inquiry

We are continuing to explore Earth's Resources and the ways in which we can conserve energy, water and soil.

Wellbeing

Our next topic of learning for 'Resilience Rights & Respectful Relationships' is Gender and Identity where we are continuing to explore the ways in which we are all unique and how we all belong as part of a community.

Thanks for reading...until next time!
