Curriculum Day Professional Learning

On Friday, we held our Curriculum Day, which provided valuable time for teachers to reflect on student achievements from Semester 1 and begin writing reports. These reports will be published on the XUNO Parent Portal App on Friday, July 4, and will be available for parents and carers to view.

Curriculum Day also offered an opportunity for our Education Support Staff to engage in a range of professional learning sessions, facilitated by both in-school experts and external providers. These included:

  • SWPBS Behaviour Matrix and Active Supervision, presented by Tier 3 Learning Specialist Juri Graco-Ilves, Katie Scotford, Stephanie Augello, and Karla Brown-May

  • Supporting Student Learning Using Autism-Specific Tier 1 Practices, led by our Inclusion Outreach Coach Angeline Chen and Tier 1 Learning Specialist Leona Goodwin

  • Exploring the Regulation Spaces Across the School, delivered by our Therapy Team (Cassy Wang and Tinas Wong) and Wellbeing Team (Stacie Herman and Jennifer Bals)

  • Real Schools Alumni Session – Language, presented by Real Schools

We are proud of our staff’s ongoing commitment to professional growth and collaboration in support of every student.
