Wellbeing

June is Men’s Mental Health Month
This month, we shine a light on the importance of men’s mental health and wellbeing. Mental health challenges can affect anyone, and it’s important to remind the men in our school community — Dads, carers, uncles, brothers, and educators — that it’s okay to talk, ask for help, and look after their mental health.
Let’s work together to create a safe, supportive environment where children see healthy habits and open conversations about feelings.
How families can support men’s mental health:
- Encourage regular check-ins with the men in your life
- Make time for shared activities like a walk, sport, or hobby
- Model open conversations about emotions at home
- Let children see that asking for help is a strength
How kids can be involved:
- Write a kind note or draw a picture for a male role model
- Help create “feel good” moments through play or conversation
- Learn simple ways to talk about emotions
Together, we can help break the stigma and build a stronger, more connected community.
