Years F & 1

The joyous word in our class for the last couple of weeks has been 'bum'. The foundation students came across it in our sounds write and have loved writing it ever since! 

In maths, we have been focusing on statistics this week, and students have been grouping items together based on what is the same and what is different. They have practised tally marks and responding to questions about a data set. 

In art this week, students got to pull off the tape on their penguin picture they painted. The students were impressed with what they created and how well it turned out when they removed the paint. Afterwards, we used watercolour paints to paint bubbles onto a piece of paper. The students started getting clever with their thinking, wanting to have a go at painting rainbow colours.
