SJV Concert 2025
A Night at the MuseumÂ
The time is flying, and our school concert is just around the corner! Weâre excited to begin our preparations on Tuesday, June 10th, as we start bringing the show to life. Plus, weâre thrilled to announce that the Year 5/6 roles will be revealed this Thursday â we canât wait to share the news with our talented students and get rehearsals underway! đ
The concert will take place over two nights in Term 3:
Â
đ Â Tuesday, September 9th & Wednesday, September 10th 2025
Â
Please mark these dates in your diaries and keep them free! Each student will perform within their level on one of these evenings. Nights will be allocated according to family name, e.g. A-L, M-Z. This will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
Itâs not long until we kick off the fun with Kinect 2 Dance in Week 8 of Term 2! Just two short weeks away! đ With their amazing moves and expert guidance, weâll be diving into rehearsals and building toward a show-stopping performance in Term 3. We canât wait to get started! đ
As Ms. Snortlebottomâs class embarks on an excursion trip to the local museum, they expect to explore exhibits and learn about history. However, their visit takes an unexpected turn when the museumâs displays mysteriously come to life! From ancient rulers to legendary icons, the students must navigate thrilling encounters, solve puzzles, and outwit museum guards to restore order. This action-packed production blends humour, adventure, and important life lessons, emphasising teamwork, perseverance, and the impact of our choices.
Costume planning is underway, and weâll soon start sharing details about what your child/ren will need for the concert đ. Over the coming weeks, weâll let you know exactly whatâs required and provide helpful suggestions on where to find items or how to put them together đď¸â¨. Keep an eye out for updatesâweâre here to make it as easy and fun as possible! đ

Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare for A Night at the Museum!Â
