End of Year

The end of the year is nearly here!  We are looking for all the books that have been borrowed during the year to be returned as soon as possible.  If you receive a notice advising that your child has overdue books, please have a good look around at home, in the car, and under the couch.  If you can’t find the book, please ask your child to check their tubs at school, and the classroom library.  I would love to have the books back for other students to use next year. Send me an email, give me a call, or drop in, if you want to chat about any missing books.

For those of you that like graphs and statistics, following page is a graph showing the number of books borrowed by class.  Enjoy some colourful statistics.

Thank you to all of you – parents, students, and staff for your support of the library over the past year.  We are privileged to have such amazing resources available in our school. I love working to support our students and staff to find interesting and relevant books. Finding books to read for pleasure encourages reading and learning, understanding and empathy and broadens the students’ outlook on the world.  I look forward to working with you all again next year.

I hope you all enjoy the summer holidays having a wonderful and special time with your families.
