Year 3 Big Day Out

Sovereign Hill

To celebrate a fantastic year, the Year 3 students headed out to Sovereign Hill on Thursday the 5th of December. 

 

Sovereign Hill is located in Ballarat and is set up like a 1850's goldfields site. When visiting, students saw, heard and felt what it was like to be living in this historical gold rush era.

 

Students participated in a range of activities such as gold mining, candle dipping and visiting an underground mine as well as exploring the historical town.
