Student Music leaders

Applications are now due for the following student leader positions: Music Captains (2), Strings Leader, Concert Band Leader and Swing Band Leader. Generally, these positions are for senior students. Applicants are required to write a short paragraph on why they think they would be good in that position. Applications are due by the Monday 10th February.

New Music Students - Information Sessions

The instrumental music information session is on Wednesday 12th at 5:30-6:30pm in the music centre.

This event will start with a brief presentation on how the music program operates. Students will then have the opportunity, with their families to meet teachers and students, look at all the instruments available and sign up to the program.

Please note we are not offering guitar lessons to new students this year and would encourage students interested in guitar to come along and see what other options there are.

Once new students have signed up they will be allocated to a teacher and placed in a group. Lessons for those students will start in week 4.

Any questions about the Instrumental Music Program can be directed to Mrs Kim Green in the music centre (Monday-Thursday).
