Introducing the Year 7 Hub team for 2025
Welcome to Year 7 – 2025
We are excited to welcome our new Year 7 students and their families to our school community. Moving into secondary school is a big step, and we are here to support every student as they begin this exciting new journey. Our first couple of days have been amazing and we cannot thank the students on their way they have transitioned into the College.
Year 7 is a time for discovery, learning and growth with our theme and focus being on creating a sense of belonging. We want our students to feel a sense of belonging as they navigate this pivotal step in their secondary education. Students will engage in a broad curriculum that includes English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities, along with specialist subjects like the Arts, Technology, Textiles, Drama, and Health and Physical Education.
Beyond the classroom, there will be many opportunities to get involved in sports, music, clubs, and leadership programs. These activities are a great way to make new friends and feel connected and belonged to the school community.
We believe that strong communication between school and home is key to student success. Families can stay informed through our school newsletter, Compass, and other communications channels. If you have any questions, our Year 7 Team and wellbeing team are always available to help.
