End of Year Reflection

As we close in on the end of year I wish to once again thank everyone who is a part of our school community for your support and making me feel so welcome.

A highlight for me was the River Swimming program this term, this is a unique experience our students get to enjoy which many schools would not have the opportunity to participate in. Another highlight for me has been welcoming new staff to our school who have quickly made a positive impact!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Bridgewater Primary School this year and I am looking forward to another great year in 2025!

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.

Please stay safe and enjoy some quality family time!

Last Week Information

Next week is our final week of school and we still have a fair few things on so please check our Important Dates page of this newsletter. You will also find our back to school dates for Term 1 of 2025.

Students will not need to bring lunch on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday next week as lunch will be supplied on these days.  With Friday finishing at 1.30pm students will only need snacks for this day unless they want to eat a sandwich at first break. There will be no lunch orders on the final day of school.

Our school year will conclude with an end of year assembly at 1.10pm. At this, we will fair well our two Grade 6 students Gus and Bruce as well as announce our 2025 School Captains.

River Swimming Program

Thank you to Debbie, Laura and Shelley for running an informative and fun Open Water Swimming Program. The students thoroughly enjoyed the two weeks thanks to your caring and humorous approach to teaching the students.

This week we set up the new spinning compost bin that was donated by Bunnings as well as some weeding and harvesting of strawberries.
