2025 Student Leadership camp! 

Last week our 2025 student leaders kicked off their journey with an incredible camp at Phillip Island! 

The camp was packed with activities like canoeing, the giant swing, an initiatives course, and archery. And let’s not forget the highlight—a 5am walk to the beach to watch the breathtaking sunrise! 

The students also spent time planning for the year ahead and bonding as a leadership team. The ideas and energy were amazing, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact they’ll make in 2025!

HP Staff and Students had the privilege to work with Creative Arts Collective, Pasific Sisters - a group of powerful and accomplished artists from across Aotearoa New Zealand to connect with and celebrate culture, identity, and community. 

Their new exhibition 'FROCK A WHANAUNGATANGA', was explored with the group, with a personal tour and discussion of their artwork and their mission; along with a shared lunch, and an opportunity to show explore their creativity and join the sisters in making Ei Katu, a traditional headpiece, which they got to take home and remember their trip by.
