Springvale Rise Primary School Community Hub
Welcome to 2025, everyone! It’s hard to believe we are already in the second month of the new year. We are thrilled to embark on another year in the Community Hub and have many exciting activities planned!
Hub programs begin on Monday February the 17th and in the meantime we will be contacting existing Hub families to enrol into our Hub programs. A reminder, to participate in any of our Hub programs this year we ask that all Hub participants obtain a Volunteer Working with Children Check (WWCC). It is free to apply and you can do so online through the website or in-person through Australia Post (In-person applications for Working with Children Checks | vic.gov.au (www.vic.gov.au)). If you would like assistance in applying for this card please give me a call to arrange a time so I can help you.
In addition to obtaining a WWCC, each Hub participant will now receive a Springvale Rise Primary School Community Hub ID card. This will be attached to a lanyard in which all Hub participants will be expected to wear when on school grounds. This is a great way to notify school staff and the wider community that you are a member of our Springvale Rise Community Hub. Lastly, there are a few timetable changes this year with additional programs and minor time changes. Here are the following programs we are offering this year:
English Classes – Springvale Campus
