USA BASKETBALL TOUR
Had an AMAZING time!
From 27th November - 14th December, 26 students from the EIS Basketball program traveled to the USA for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Over the trip, we visited Washington, DC, where we explored the historic landmarks, including the White House and the Lincoln Memorial, New York, a city that dazzled us with its iconic skyline and vibrant culture, a stop in Boston, rich in history and known for its charming streets and prestigious universities, and made our way to Los Angeles, where we enjoyed the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
Some of the highlights of the trip included our day at Disneyland and visiting the Empire State Building. We also attended two NBA games, an NFL game, and an NHL game.
Students played 8 basketball games, and both the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams finished with a 6-2 win-loss record. A phenomenal effort from both teams, considering the full schedule we had.
One of the highlights from the staff was seeing all our students make huge efforts to get to know the students from the schools we visited.
Many connections and friendships were made that have continued since returning home.
We congratulate our students on a very successful tour, and we are thankful for the support from our families and staff who helped this trip go ahead and enjoy every moment. This memorable journey not only showcased our students' talents but also fostered valuable experiences and lasting friendships among them.
