Australian Government’s Stop it at the Start campaign

Stop it at the Start is a national campaign that aims to prevent gender-based violence by influencing change to attitudes and behaviours that support or condone gender-based violence.

The current campaign phase is dedicated to the new and hidden forms of disrespect young people are being exposed to online and offline, and the negative impact this has on attitudes and behaviours.

Resources for families

There is information and conversation guides to help parents, carers and other role models learn more about the hidden trends of disrespect and ways to start talking to young people about it.   ‌
