Performing Arts

This week in Performing Arts the preps have been learning about high and low sounds. 

Students sang songs, moved to music and played guessing games. They changed their voices to sound like the Big Bad Wolf and the scared Little Pigs for a short play.

The grade 1’s have been learning to play rhythm patterns by clapping and on instruments. We had lots of fun singing along to ‘Just Like Me’.

The grade 2’s created their own arrangement of rhythm patterns which they performed to a small group.

Auditions for Alice in Wonderland are well underway. They should be complete by early next week, and then students will find out who has made it into the cast.
