IDSSA Swimming Championships

Last Monday, 34 students represented APS at the District Swimming Championships. It was a day filled with numerous opportunities and experiences, and it was fantastic to see students participating in both individual and relay events. Well done to all students who participated on the day and thank - you to Oscar and Ella for being our Swim Captains for 2025. Additionally, congratulations to the students listed below who will progress to the Divisional Swimming Championships, scheduled for March 13th.

A big thank you to the parents who volunteered their time to help out. We could not run these events without you.

A.P.S. Swimming Carnival

The swimming carnival was a blast and everyone had such a great time. First we started off with freestyle, everyone shivering with nerves as they marshaled. 3,2,1 Go! Hearts thumping, arms moving, legs kicking. Mixtures of  emotions were in the air as they finished. Next was backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Congrats to everyone who gave it a go and tried their best. A big thank you to the parent helpers and teachers none of this would be possible without you guys!

We are so proud of you all for giving it a go. If you did not get through or reach your goal there's always other opportunities. Everyone showed amazing house spirit. Even if it was in the little pool.

Thank you all for participating, we had such a great time seeing everyone!
