Boarding

As always, the past two weeks have been filled with exciting events, and I would like to share some of the highlights with you.

Firstly, the Governing School Council had the opportunity to tour Fernbank House and were incredibly pleased with the renovations that took place over the break. The upgrades have enhanced the space, and the council was impressed by the outcome, which has created a more comfortable environment for all.

The Year 7 - 12 annual cross-country was held at Centennial Park, and we had fantastic participation from our boarding students. It was wonderful for me to join the run with so many girls getting involved. They showed house spirit and dedication and perseverance throughout the event.

The Year 12 boarders and I attended the Kambala International Women's Day Breakfast in our Alexander Hall. The breakfast featured two incredible guest speakers—both strong, successful women who shared invaluable insights on interviews, investments, and building a strong career. It was an inspiring morning that left our Year 12s motivated and empowered.

Looking ahead, we’re excited about the upcoming Music Festival and the chance to connect with many of our boarding families over that weekend. We hope to see you all there, celebrating the incredible talents of our students!

A quick reminder that our next “In Weekend” will take place on the 3rd of May from 4pm until 8pm on the 4th of May. All girls are expected to attend, and we are planning an exciting time together.
