Visual Arts

The Art room has been in a flurry of activity since the term began. After making water colour rainbows for displays, our senior students have been busy developing their drawing skills on various projects.
Our Level 5 students have been using their imagination to design an imaginary animal. They combined different features and characteristics of their favourite creatures. The Art elements that they focused on are colour, line, pattern and texture. The results are incredible, and it shows how much care students took in making their artworks.
Level 6 students have been exploring one-point perspective drawing to create colourful 3D swirl creations. It was impressive how students demonstrated resilience as it was challenging at first. Once students got the hang of the method, they enjoyed the process. Once again, the results are amazing. Well done everyone!
