Ride to School

On the 21st of March Jells Park PS is hosting a National Ride to School Day. We would love everyone to come with their bikes (no scooters or skateboards) to ride to school with us. We are planning on having three starting points instead of one.
The reason we are hosting a National Ride to School Day is because we would like for everyone to reduce their carbon footprint, get fit and riding to school with your mates is just fun. Right now Jells Park PS is trying to make an good change on our surroundings, even something like riding to school will make a huge difference.
On the day we will have teachers, at each starting point helping us move smoothly along the tracks and helping us navigate the roads. If any parents are able to come and help us with keeping everyone together that would be great but even if you just want to ride with your kid that will still help us.
We will have three starting locations -
1 Mulgrave Reserve leaving at 8am
2 Oaks Picnic Area Jells Park leaving at 8.25am
3 Wheelers Hill Tennis courts leaving at 8.25am
The year 5’s and 6’s will leave their bikes in the bike shed after they finish their ride and the foundation’s, 1s, 2s, 3s and 4s will leave their bikes in the out of bounds area behind the staff room. We will also have a stand in front of the office with some fruit where we hope to have oranges and apples.
