Japan Tour

At the time of this newsletter’s publication, I am excited to be traveling with 24 wonderful students and three staff members on a remarkable journey through Japan. This trip offers our students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Japanese culture, gain new perspectives, and experience school life in Japan at our sister school Ota First (Daiichi) High School, Japan.     Our itinerary includes visits to the vibrant cities of Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima, as well as the cultural and historical treasures of Takamatsu, Nara, and Ohta. From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the tranquil temples of Kyoto, students will have the chance to explore the rich heritage and modern wonders of Japan.  Please keep an eye on our Facebook page, as we will be sharing plenty of photos and updates from our adventure. We look forward to bringing back wonderful stories and memories from this incredible experience.

College Production: Matilda Jr.

Our recent college production of Matilda Jr. truly showcased the immense talent and dedication of our students both on stage and behind the scenes. Over several spectacular performances, our students brought this beloved story to life. The energy and enthusiasm from our performers lit up the stage, with students delivering outstanding singing, dancing, and acting that left the audience thoroughly entertained.   But the magic didn’t just happen on stage. Behind the curtain, another group of students and volunteer staff worked on set design, costumes, lighting, and props, ensuring every detail was perfect. Their creativity and dedication added depth and professionalism to the overall production, making it a true team effort.  I am deeply grateful to the staff who went above and beyond to support the production. Their guidance, passion, and countless hours of preparation helped bring this beloved musical to life and provided our students with an unforgettable experience and wonderful memories that they will take with them into their future lives. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our Production Coordinators, Caitlin Lunnon and Jordann West who committed their time and energy to make this production possible. From directing, singing, and choreography to managing backstage set changes and technical operations, their support was instrumental in guiding our students and making Matilda Jr. a resounding success.  We are incredibly proud of everyone involved, and the production was a true testament to the creative spirit, teamwork, and talent within our college community. Congratulations to all our performers, crew members, and staff on an unforgettable show!
