Carpooling!
Do you drive to school? Many of us live in the same suburb and make a similar commute to school each day, so, why not pair up and carpool?
Carpooling has so many benefits:
- Environmental: less cars on the road.
- Eases congestion: we all know the challenges of kiss n’go (particularly in the afternoons!) so one car instead of two means happy roads and happy school neighbours.
- Community: it’s a fun and easy way to forge connections between families in the school community.
- Fun: play music and games in the car on the way to and from school, the kiddies love it.
- Less stress: enjoy some extra time off from the rat race!
Jenny and Liz (year 1 parents) have been carpooling since March. Throughout the week they each do two pick ups and two drop offs.
