All Hands to the Barrow!
Saturday morning will be a frenzy of activity at the Term 1 Working Bee from 9:00am to 12noon. Parents will be aware that we have had a truckload of softfall delivered in the upper and lower playgrounds. This is to ensure the safety of students as they run and play underneath the playground. We are eager to distribute this on Saturday morning with some volunteering hands! Please join us with a wheelbarrow if you can. Don’t miss out on the BBQ at 12 noon.
2025 Prep Invitations
It seems a little early to be communicating about the 2025 Prep students but our timelines have been moved forward and we are always eager to keep people informed about what is coming up. Some of our current parents may have friends and relatives considering enrolments. I encourage you to pick up a flyer in the foyer with the following information provided.
2025 Prep Parents/Carer Weekly Tours
We have scheduled a range of tours that are available for parents and carers eager to see life at Rosanna Primary in action. Parents join our captains and Principal on a walk through the school. It is a great chance to have questions answered from the Principal and from a student's perspective. Please RSVP by ringing the office or scanning the QR Code.
2025 Prep Parent Information Morning

Parents with children about to enter Prep in 2025 are invited along to this information morning. It aims to tell the Rosanna Primary School story to parents and carers considering enrolment in 2025. Come & Play Sessions
Starting on Wednesday the 6 March at 3:45pm, these relaxed opportunities provide a space for carers and their child to explore our discovery zone in the prep learning area. Our prep teachers are scheduled to answer questions and welcome parents and children who are present. Please RSVP by ringing the office or scanning the QR Code.
School Readiness: A Parent Session

This is a chance to explore some of the strategies to support numeracy and literacy development in the first year of primary school and the final year of kindergarten. Our prep teachers will present the evening that we hope will build connections with and between parents during this important time of transition. FORPS Picnic 1 March, 5pm
Come and join us with a picnic dinner on next Friday evening at the FORPS Welcome to 2024 Picnic! There will be a sausage sizzle available kindly sponsored by TheirCare. We’ll be bringing out a range of sports equipment and enjoying a relaxed time together. It is a great chance to meet the neighbours and celebrate the start of the year! More information will be released on Compass!
Staying Safe Online
Thanks to all who have had discussions with their children about staying safe online. If you have yet to sign these consents you can ask for a printed version from the office or simply return the copy already sent home. Students in the 4/5/6 area will be part of a cybersafety workshop on Wednesday next week.
