The Friends’ School Fair 2024

We are pleased to announce that The Friends’ School Fair will take place from 12pm to 3pm, Saturday 4 May on the Argyle Street Campus!

The School Fair is an opportunity for participation, service and enjoyment across our full school community. The Fair will also raise some funds for a worthy cause - details to be advised soon.

The Fair Organising Committee is looking for additional help with specific and vacant roles on the Committee.  If you can assist in one or more of the following roles, we’d love to hear from you:

  • 2 x Coordinators to oversee 6 to 10  School Entertainment & Activities by students/parents (E.g. music, dance, sport, treasure hunt).
  • 1 x Coordinator to assist and oversee 6 to 10 School Non-Food Stallholders (E.g. Book stall, 2nd Hand Uniform, Adopt-a-bear).
  • 1 x Coordinator to assist and oversee 6 to 10 School Food & Beverage Stallholders (E.g. Deli, Cakes, Jams).
  • 1 x Sustainability Coordinator (to help ensure we have good environmental considerations and practises).
  • 1 x Finance Coordinator (to help manage and coordinate budgeting, payment processes and receipting).

Please advise our Events & Marketing Coordinator Emma Gilligan if you can assist with any of the above committee roles.

We will provide more details next week about registering to volunteer on specific stalls and activities at various times during the event or as part of set-up/packdown.

In the meantime, the Committee would like to invite people to start making some of the following items:

  • Jams, preserves or relishes.
  • Cakes, muffins, slices or cupcakes.

We look forward to our parents and students helping to create a fun event!

In the meantime for enquiries, please contact Emma Gilligan.
