Student Achievement Awards - 4th March

Maelynn, well done on using our mentor text in reading as inspiration to create your own family tree. You effectively used the information you brought in from home to plan your tree and to carefully position your family members. You also made sure your work was presented very neatly. Congratulations, Maelynn! 

Well done Sid on excellent work in your Maths this week. You've shown in-depth understanding of place value particularly in the way you were able to rename a variety of 2-digit numbers in multiple ways, showing all the possible combinations of tens and ones. Great work! 

Avni, you are always so engaged in our class discussions. It was great to see you asking questions when you noticed that a word that we were labelling as a noun could also be a verb (depending on how it is used). Keep up the excellent thinking and questioning. 

Congratulations Kayla on a fantastic effort using your Writers Notebook last week. Your entries were presented clearly and creatively! I loved reading your list of setting ideas for future narrative writing. Well done!

Congratulations Ameyaa on an amazing week, where you demonstrated a positive mindset towards your learning. I was especially impressed with the brilliant ideas you shared about the Amazon Fires, which were also presented clearly and neatly. Well done Ameyaa!
