First Nations visit to Shine Bright Kindergarten

Yesterday, four of our First Nations students visited Shine Bright Kindergarten for a special cultural sharing experience. The visit began with the kindergarten children singing their Acknowledgment of Country song, followed by our students using the languages map to show where their family or mob comes from.

The children then selected books from their First Nations collection, and our students read with them in small groups. The visit ended with lots of smiles as the kindergarten children proudly showed our students around their space and enjoyed some playtime together.

It was a meaningful and joyful exchange for everyone involved, and we look forward to continuing our connection with the kindergarten in the future.
