Curriculum

This week we have enjoyed a wonderful partnership experience with parents of our Year 10 students.  Last Tuesday, we held personal interviews with each Year 10 student and their parent/s, as part of their Year 11 2026 Subject Selections process.  This has been a wonderful opportunity to consult and guide these girls as to their future pattern of study in Years 11 & 12 and how this may set up their plans beyond school.  Particular thanks are extended to our VET Coordinator, Mr Geoff Sullivan, our Pathways Manger, Mr Adam Macnamara, and Pathways Coach, Mrs Kara Oliver, for the expertise and advice they provided to the girls and their families on the day.

Our Year 12 girls are now turning their focus to preparation for their Trial HSC Exams early in Term 3.  The exam timetable has been issued and the focus for students is now on revision of course content, exam strategies, and improvement through feedback.  Our Year 12 HSC July Study Sessions held in the upcoming school holidays is also an important part of their exam preparation.  We suggest that in the lead up to exams, and the exam block itself, that students regulate the amount of shifts they undertake if they have jobs, and to observe good sleep habits.

Reports for Years 7-10 students will be issued at the beginning of Week 10.  The value of reports is the affirmation of the hard work of many students and the challenge for some to improve in the next semester.   We trust that you will enjoy celebrating your daughter’s learning achievements this semester.
