Year 3/4 Learning Reflection

Oh what an afternoon/night. THANK YOU parents and families for joining students for Twilight school. We hope you enjoyed it as much as the students did!
This reconfiguration of the school day is really about taking the opportunity to engage with your child’s learning environment. It is also a wonderful way to engage with not only our wonderful school but with the teachers and support staff.
Some shared reading in our Library session this week. As a teacher, I love when students explore the library for a favourite author or genre.
They have also been super busy exploring and researching non-fiction texts on Gorilla's and Bee's to support our Information Reports in writing.
Students working very hard on their research for their Bee Information Reports. We have used mind maps to categorise our research and soon students will move to publishing their pieces.
For Maths, students have been continuing to strengthen their number fluency skills with the four operations; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. They have also tuned into selecting appropriate graphical representations of data to suit the audience.
