General Information

Y6's artwork Year 5/6 with Ms Karen

It's been a busy term of art with students researching an artist of choice, creating and presenting a biography of the artist, looking at their work and selecting one that resonated with them.  Students used the artwork to inspire their own piece.  We then held a gallery for others to come and see their art creations.  They should all be super proud of their achievements.

Performing Arts with Mr Tim

This semester students participated in the whole school ‘Hello’ song for Harmony Day written by  Mr Tim and the students of Clovelly Park. Students contributed to the lyrics, singing and playing guitar, ukulele, piano and percussion instruments.

This term, students considered Indigenous perspectives and are learning the ‘Come Together’ song for a whole school performance at the NAIDOC assembly led by the choir students.

Mr Tim is coordinating choir rehearsals for years 5 and 6 each week and students will be participating in one of the Festival of Music concerts at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on 17 September.

Each Friday students from years 4-6 have guitar lessons with an Education Department Instrumental Music teacher.  We look forward to their performance at our end of the year Concert.

Students in our Wakakirri Troupe have been contributing to and rehearsing for, our performance on 8 August at the Norwood Concert Hall. Mr Tim, Ms Alice, Ms Jess, Ms Nadine and family volunteers Ms Naomi and Ms Jaymie have been coordinating the after-school rehearsals on Wednesdays from 3pm-4pm in the gym. This year the theme is 'Mind Over Matter' and the story centres on two rival groups who must overcome their fears to bring down the wall between them.

Soccer Gala Day

On Thursday 12th June 2025, our school proudly entered a team of 14 boys into the Participation Division at the Soccer Day Carnival.

The team played four matches against Forbes, Dara Village, St Bernadette’s and Belair Primary Schools, finishing the day with three impressive wins and one hard-fought draw.

Throughout the event, the boys consistently demonstrated our school values—showing kindness, courage, thoughtfulness, inclusivity and responsibility and sporting behaviour, both on and off the field. We congratulate the team for their outstanding efforts!

The team should be extremely proud of their efforts and the way they represented our school.

Well done to our students: Samar, Ashwin, Vito, Mohammad, Madhav, Yoesal, Avi, Khaled, Erik, Gurshaan, Vishavjit, Himanshu, Ngong and Mustafa!
