School Disco
Friday nights at St Kilian’s Primary School are all about dancing, music, and fun! A big thank you to Mr. Podosky for dusting off the decks and getting the music pumping — the energy was fantastic! We’re also incredibly grateful to our amazing Parents and Friends group for organising such a wonderful event for our students. With over 200 students in attendance, it’s safe to say it was a night well worth having. A special shout-out to Luchiano Pizza for the delicious food — no one went home hungry! Thanks to everyone who helped make the night a success.
If you would like to be involved with the Parents and Friends team in any way with future events, please do reach out at pandf@skbendigo.catholic.edu.au
Courage and Codes: Supporting Young Men in Years 4–6
Students in Years 4, 5, and 6 took part in a Courage & Codes session focused on building confidence, emotional awareness and respectful relationships. The session encouraged boys to understand and express their feelings in healthy ways, helping them build stronger friendships and safer, more caring communities. Courage & Codes challenges old ideas about what it means to be a boy, moving away from toughness, teasing and keeping emotions hidden. Instead, it promotes kindness, respect and positive connections with others.
Funky Hair Day Success!
On Monday, we proudly donated $246.80 to Headspace Bendigo, a local mental health organisation that provides vital support to young people in our community.
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making Funky Hair Day such a vibrant and meaningful event. Your support helps raise awareness and funds for youth mental health — and every crazy hairstyle made a difference.

Grades 2 & 3 Imagine Live Concert at the Capital
What a great day out…a quick walk to The Capital Theatre to see IMAGINE LIVE by Jolyon James based on the book ‘Imagine’ by Alison Lester.
It’s about animals! It's about Imagination! It’s about our Home!
Magical and meaningful, IMAGINE LIVE is a celebration of creativity, friendship and our precious natural world. With the help of the audience, performers play and sing their way through the pages of Imagine and quickly discover there is WAY more to these pages than they first thought. Spot a leopard, dive with a dolphin or dig up a dinosaur as this iconic book springs into life before your eyes.
