Parents will receive a SEQTA message notification once Semester One Reports are released this week. These reports offer valuable insights into each student’s progress and achievement so far this year.
Reports also indicate whether any teachers have requested an interview with you and your child during next term’s Parent/Student/Teacher Interviews.
We encourage all students to reflect on their Semester One performance, identify areas for growth, and set clear academic goals for Semester Two.
Date: Monday 21 July
Time: 12:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: On campus (face-to-face interviews)
Interviews are open to all students from Years 7 to 12. As this is a Home Study Day, students are not required to attend regular classes but must accompany their parents to interviews in full College winter uniform.
Interview bookings are made via the Edval Interviews platform. Parents and carers will receive an email containing a unique login code and a link to the booking portal.
Key details:
Each interview is scheduled for eight minutes, with a two-minute changeover between sessions.
Bookings close at 12:00pm on Friday 18 July.
Following the release of Semester One Reports, teachers, Pastoral Leaders, or Deputy Principals may request additional interviews. We recommend booking early to secure preferred times.
If you are unable to attend on the day, you may contact individual teachers via email or Direqt Message, to arrange a follow-up conversation.
For families where English is not the first language, you are welcome to bring a friend or family member to assist with interpreting during interviews.
If you experience difficulties accessing Edval Interviews, please contact the College during the second week of the school holidays. Please note that College Administration will be closed during the first week of the holidays.
Subject Selection Online (SSO) is now open for Year 10 and 11 students to begin choosing their pathways and courses for 2026. Students have received login instructions and a link to access the SSO platform via email.
Students must review the Minimum Entry Requirements (MER) for each course before making their selections. Subjects where students have not met the MER cannot be selected without prior approval.
Students in Years 7 to 9 will have the opportunity to select their elective subjects through SSO early in Term 3.
We encourage students to take the time to carefully explore their options and speak with subject teachers or relevant staff if they have any questions.
Families are reminded that students should not arrive at school before 8:00am, unless they are attending a supervised activity, such as a training session or another scheduled co-curricular program.
For before-school activities, students should arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the session begins. This helps ensure appropriate supervision and a safe campus environment.
We have noticed an increase in students arriving well before formal supervision begins. Please note that supervision does not commence until 8:00am in the Learning Hub. The College cannot take responsibility for students who arrive earlier than this time.
We appreciate your ongoing support in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students.

This was a fantastic opportunity for parents and carers to learn about the online environment and how to support young people in being safe and responsible digital users. Looking ahead, the Parent Committee will share details of upcoming Term 3 events, including the popular Father’s Day Breakfast on Thursday 4 September.
