First Eucharist Medal Masses
On the weekend, the Grade 4s went to the Medal Mass, a part of the preparation for the Eucharist Sacrament.
During the Mass, Father Andrew talked about Pentecost and how the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit. The story was very interesting and descriptive.
When it was time to hold up the bread, I saw a chalice. He dipped the Body of Christ in the chalice.
Then Father Andrew called the Year 4s up to collect the medals. The medals were gold and looked really shiny. When I went back to my bench I felt proud and good.
At the end, Father Andrew made announcements about Masses at St Justins and Good Shepherd. It really was a wonderful experience.
