Year 6 Winter Sports Gala

On the 22nd of May, Good Shepherd footy team went out to do interschool sports at Mulgrave Reserve. In the morning the footy players went on the bus to Mulgrave Reserve. When we got there, we played our first game at 10:00am where we played St John Vianneys. In the first quarter we were winning 7-3, and then in the second quarter we won the game 11-5, and that was mostly all of our games for the whole day. We went undefeated and same with the girls team. Afterwards we went to pick up the soccer team and that was the day that I experienced. PS: The best day of my life.

On the 23rd of May at Freeway Reserve we had interschool sports. When the soccer group got to interschool sports we had to go to our section to put all our bags. After we put our bags away, Miss Maddie took us to do some warm ups like passing the ball, high knees and stretching. Later at 10:15 we started our first match. We were versus a mixed team and I scored for my team, the A team. Right after our match it was the other mixed team’s turn and they lost, however not by a lot but they were sad. The next Good Shepherd game to be played was the girls team. They were doing well in defense and did good overall, not too bad. For the other matches we didn't do well but we still had a lot of fun.
