Good morning, Parents/Carers,

School Swimming and Water Safety Program

Our students will continue with the School Swimming and Water Safety Program this week at the Werris Creek Memorial Swimming Pool. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed in their uniform with swimmers in a separate bag as they will be changing before they leave at 1:00pm to walk to the pool. Please ensure your child has a towel and sunscreen.  We also recommend another bottle of water as the weather is heating up, and they will be walking to and from the pool. The program will run until Friday, 5th December.

Undercover Harmonies

Our Yrs 3-6 cohorts attended the Werris Creek Library for an Undercover Harmonies session last Tuesday, 25th November. Students learnt to sing a song in harmony with musical accompaniment following instructions from experienced tutors. Parents, friends and the community were invited to come along to the library at 1pm to listen and enjoy the student's performance. Thank you to Werris Creek Library and the Undercover Harmonies team for the experience.

Year 5 Captains Speeches

Our Year 5 students delivered their Captains Speeches this morning to be in the running for School Captain in 2026.  We are extremely proud of all students who spoke today and thank our Parents/Carers and families who attended.  I wish everyone the best of luck. The new School Captains and Vice Captains for 2026 will be announced on Presentation Day, next Tuesday, 9th December.

Presentation Day

Our annual Presentation Day will be held next Tuesday, 9th December in the school hall. Parents/Carers and families are invited to join us at 9:30am.

Christmas Craft

After our Presentation Day assembly, we invite Parents/Carers and families to join us in making Christmas Craft with your children from 12:00pm to 1:35pm.  We will be having our break in between, and we invite you to bring lunch and stay and enjoy lunch with your child.  

Year 6 Farewell

We will be holding our Year 6 Farewell next Thursday, 11th December from 5:30pm in the school hall.  Invitations for the event have been sent home for Year 5 and 6 and we ask that you RSVP and payment to the school office by tomorrow, Wednesday, 3rd December.

K-3 Excursion to Forum 6 Cinemas

Our K-3 Cohort will be travelling to Tamworth next Friday, 12th December to enjoy a visit to see Zootopia 2 at Forum 6 Cinemas and then onto the park for some play time.  Our P&C will be providing Pizza for lunch for all students.  Thank you to the P&C for organising lunch for our students, it is very much appreciated.  We are still yet to receive some permission notes back.  If you are yet to return your child's note and money, could you please return no later than this Friday, 5th December to the office to ensure your child is allocated a seat on the bus.
