YEAR 7
Starting Well

Head of Year 7
I would like to acknowledge and congratulate the Year 7 students who were recognised at both the Academic Presentation Evening and our Sports Awards in Week 7. These achievements reflect not only their hard work and commitment, but also the positive way they contribute to our College community. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the example they set for their peers.
On Friday, 28 November, Year 7s will participate in their End of Year Community Day. The Year 7 cohort, their Year 11 Mentors and Pastoral Mentors will celebrate with a day out to Holloway’s Beach. Permission slips have been sent via Ed Smart. Please ensure this is completed so your child can attend. Students will depart after our End of Year Liturgy and return for the end of the school day.
As we approach the end of Term 4 and the conclusion of 2025, I want to take a moment to thank you for your support throughout the year. It has been a privilege to work with the Year 7 cohort and to see their growth and achievements. I wish all our Year 7 families a relaxing summer break, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. I look forward to seeing everyone back in 2025, ready for another fantastic year at St Mary's Catholic College!
