Dear fellow scientists,

 

Prep students are producing and evaluating their “In the Cup” design project. They are using sticky tape or Blu Tack to add ramps, safely handling materials, working collaboratively with their group, and completing the producing and evaluating sections of their design booklet.

Grade 1 students are conducting an investigation to test how much water two different types of soil can hold. They circled their prediction, measured and recorded their results, and compared the outcomes between the two soils. Grade 3 students are comparing their experience of a virtual museum with that of a real museum, using iPads as directed, working cooperatively with their partners, and describing the positives and negatives of a virtual museum for people and communities. Grade 5 students are designing a website with accessible features, labelling the key elements of their design, and ensuring their website can be used by a visually impaired person.

Grade 6 students are identifying the impact of climate change on ecosystems and the human food chain, and listing key features of climate change, as well as describing its effects on both ecosystems and the human food chain.
