Selective High School Outcome

Selective High School results have been released this week and we congratulate all of our Year 6 students who opted in to completing the process. To those who received the outcome they were hoping for, well done. To those who did not, please know that this is not a measure of your worth or your potential. There are many pathways to a successful and fulfilling life and the results of one test do not define what lies ahead. Resilience, perseverance and a willingness to keep learning are qualities that will serve our students far more in the long run than any single outcome. We are also very fortunate to have a wonderful local high school that offers our students a genuine, high quality option right on our doorstep. Over the next 15 weeks, we look forward to supporting all of our year 6 students as they transition to high school.

Emergency Evacuation Drill Next Week

We will be conducting an emergency evacuation drill on one day next week. This brief but important exercise is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students and staff.

Emergency evacuation drills are essential training that help students and staff become familiar with the procedures to follow in the event of an actual emergency, promoting a calm and orderly response.

We encourage you to discuss the drill with your children to reassure them that such practices are routine in schools and are conducted solely to ensure everyone’s safety. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Thank you for your continued support.
