Wellbeing

 - Miss Kristen Waldron

I expected things to slow down towards the end of the term, but that’s certainly not the case at our College. The school has been bustling with many positive activities. We’ve had success at the recent Eisteddfod, a full week of examinations, the GAT for our Year 11s and 12s, the 2025 curriculum night, sports and musical rehearsals, preparations and fundraising for Central Australia, House afternoons, community service, VIBE Day, a Berry House Service, and ICCES Basketball, hockey, and netball competing in Shepparton. These are all amazing opportunities for our students to learn and grow. We are incredibly proud of our students and all they are achieving.

I hope our students and families will take the time to carefully read through their Term Two reports. For parents, it is essential to discuss the report with your child and consider the advice given by their teachers. Encourage your child to reflect on their strengths and areas for improvement and work with them to set achievable goals for enhancing their academic performance.

For students, it is crucial to take responsibility for your academic progress and heed the advice provided by your teachers. Use the report as an opportunity to reflect on your strengths and weaknesses and to develop a plan for improvement. Remember, your teachers are there to support you, so don’t hesitate to ask for help if you need it.

A new semester brings fresh opportunities. I encourage our students to make the most of everything this school has to offer. For our Year 12s, this marks your final full term of formal schooling. Use the holiday period wisely to rest and return organised and focused for the final 10 weeks.

Have a safe and restful holiday.
