How to Support Your Child's Wellbeing at Home

As parents and carers, you’re already doing lots of things to support your child’s wellbeing. You can continue to support your child’s overall wellbeing by developing and promoting:

  • healthy sleeping habits
  • healthy eating habits
  • physical activity
  • strong and nurturing relationships
  • positive self-talk and providing praise, encouragement
  • mindfulness, kindness and gratitude
  • social and emotional skills
  • seeking help

ACD and Amaze (peak body for those with austim) are hosting a FREE online presentation. It is ‘Let’s Talk: relationships, sex, and pornography’.  It aims to help families of children aged 12+ to understand and support their children to navigate respectful, consenting relationships.

Topics include:

Autism, young people, and technology
