The Art/Craft and Classroom Music Expo Sem 1 2024
You are invited to this after-school event that will showcase what students have been working on in the Art Room and Music Room this semester. Instead of an arts festival that Erica and Antoinette have been involved in for many years, this year we are trying something different. We still want the opportunity to showcase the work that the students have been involved in for art, craft and music as this forms an integral part of our students’ creative arts journey. We will be doing another Expo at the end of the year to showcase work from Semester 2!
When: Thursday 27th June 4.00 pm-5.30pm.
Where: Art Room corridor, Front Office foyer, Multi-Purpose Room and Room 14 (in Prep corridor). The art room will host art and craft activities that students can take home. Room 14 will have the student performances.
Why: Sharing students’ music and art/craft efforts.
What to Bring: An after-school snack and a sense of imagination and wonder.
How to help:
If you are free to help mount and label student artwork, please contact Antoinette any time next week. Displays are going up on Wednesday 26 June, from 12pm. Lots of support is needed to get all the work up and ready.
The Jungle Expo theme is inspired by artist Henri Rousseau. So, if you have any ideas of how to bring this theme to life your help would be very much appreciated.
