Celebrating Learning

This semester the Multi-Age students have been doing an Integrated Learning unit on Family, looking at differences in family structures and the role of family groups today, as well as how these have changed or remained the same over time. 

We also looked at how people have lived in the past compared to now. Last Friday we went to the Museum to visit the First Peoples Daily Life and Melbourne Story exhibitions, as well as the Mini Mega Model Museum. The students loved catching the tram there – for some of them it was their first time on a tram! 

The exhibitions were a great display of objects from the past and our city’s heritage and the students enjoyed all the interactive aspects of the exhibits. 

We finished off the day with lunch and a play in the park and then caught the tram back to school. It was a great way to end our history unit!
