Changes to Semester 1 Student Reports
This year we have reviewed our current reporting practices and made some changes to provide parents with a clear and concise assessment of their child’s achievement.
The Semester One student report will contain a unit overview and report descriptors for the area of Religious Education.
Your child will also receive a mark against the achievement standard for each of the curriculum areas taught this semester. This mark will indicate the level at which your child is able to independently achieve at this time of the year. You will also be able to view your child's achievement and growth over either a 6, 12, 18 or 24 month period. Your child will not receive report descriptors for each curriculum area which is a change from previous years.
The upcoming interviews are an opportunity to discuss your child’s report, celebrate their growth and discuss how the family/school partnership can continue to support their future growth. It is important that each family has read their child’s school report prior to attending the parent teacher interviews.
