Principal's News

Dear Armadale Community,

Hoping you are all well. The end of term is fast approaching, and I know of a few families who heading away to Europe to enjoy the summer warmth or travelling across Australia or flying to one of our Pacific Islands. We wish all our families who are managing to escape our wintry blast wonderful holidays away with the children, creating special memories that will last a lifetime.

Next week we will have our final assembly for the term on Tuesday 25th June starting at 9.00am. Children nominated by their class and specialist teachers will receive a Jellis Craig values award plus a book voucher, there will be musical performances by members of our school orchestra and a performance from the children in Stage Left. We would love to see parents attending this final Term 2 assembly if you are able to.

Next Thursday 27th June our reports to parents will be released through COMPASS at 3.30pm and we will provide an explanatory note on how to read the report and the attached learning continuum as well as a video on our Assessment and Reporting practices.

This week our Level Bulletins highlight how Spelling is taught and learnt at each level, and we invite you to look at the ways in which you can support your child to become a more fluent, efficient and confident speller.

Enjoy the week ahead and stay warm.

Warm regards.
