Dear Parents/Carers,

PSSA Regional Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to those students who are through to the next round of competition at the Regional Athletics Carnival to be held at the Tamworth Regional Athletics Centre in Tamworth on Wednesday, 3rd September. We are fortunate to have some very talented students in the track and field events, and we wish you the best of luck in the next round of competition.  Notes to compete in this event have been sent home and we need them to be sent back to school ASAP for registration.

Small Schools Soccer Knockout

Our next round of competition will be held in Glen Innes against Almara Public School on Monday, 25th August. Notes will be sent home this week. This team has beaten us in the previous two years and we intend to go all the way this year. To do this we will be training during break time to ensure we have the best possible chance against this team. Come on Werris Creek Public School, we know you can do it. 

New England Northwest Football 

We would like to acknowledge Lachy who is representing the New England Northwest Football Team in Bellingen next week.  This is a state level competition and we wish you all the best.  We look forward to hearing about your experience on your return. 

Please note that Parents/Carers are responsible for transporting their child to and from this event. 

If your child is in Years 5 and 6 and has an interest in participating in any PSSA sporting activities, they will be given a note to fill in and return.  All notes must be submitted by the due date as late entries will not be accepted.
