Glasses for Kids Program
A reminder that all students from Foundation to Year 3 are eligible to have a free vision screening as part of the Glasses for Kids initiative.
Students have previously been given a 'postcard' which has the registration and consent details (by scanning the QR code) which can be completed online.
Alternatively there are paper copies of the consent form, as well as some family information brochures at the office if you would prefer this format.
Registrations are due by Friday 12th September. The screening will be taking place during the second week of Term 4 on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th October.
If you require further information please read the brochures below or contact the school.
2026 Prep Transition
It is so exciting and rewarding to visit the transition sessions on a Thursday and Friday afternoon and make connections with next year's students. They are already adapting so well and are engaged and active throughout the sessions. Mrs Veteha is no doubt going home very tired, however is so passionate about making sure all of the children are supported and have positive transition experiences. I look forward to watching the children develop further confidence over the sessions throughout the remainder of the year, in preparation for a smooth start to their schooling journey, beginning in 2026.
Lost Property
As the weather has been cooler students are wearing extra layers of clothing, including jumpers and jackets more frequently. There have been quite a few pieces of uniform and jackets left in the yard after lunch that have been unnamed. Please remember to name all personal property, including clothing and lunch containers, so if left outside they are able to be returned promptly and not just added to the lost property pile.
